Hello everyone. My name is Dougal, and I am a very young Welsh Springer Spaniel. I have recently moved to my new home in Lincolnshire and now live with Debbie and Dave (my new Mum and Dad), and Duggie, Fergus and Max (my new brothers) That's a lot of "D"'s! I am going to learn to be a working gundog, but for now I am just settling in and finding my way around the house and garden.

ReplyDeleteI'm really looking forward to meeting you. See that Dave has got you training with the old toy pheasant. Watch out for the lead training... it's fun. A lead is a strap which attaches to your collar, enabling you to lead your person where you want him/her to go.

ReplyDeleteI'm really looking forward to meeting you too. I think I might have had a lead thingy on - are they red? I don't know why Dave and Debbie put it on me as they carry me round the village whilst I am wearing it. I wonder how I can lead them where I want to go when they don't put me on the ground? I'll have to work on that one!
